Senin

Senin

Senin

Home of the Faeries

  • Gravity: 1.10 x Earth
  • Diameter: 1.35 x Earth
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen-rich, 1.85 times denser than Earth.
  • Day Length: 26 hours
  • Moons: 1 moon size of Mercury.
  • Binary: No.
  • Environment: Large continents framing large, deep oceans. Senin has an extended, mild temperate zone that eases to seasonal polar caps. Pre and post-destruction.
  • Orbit: Nearly circular.
  • Tilt: Moderate. Seasons are mild.
  • Sun: Yellow dwarf, a little brighter than Earth’s Sun.

Notes:

Senin was one of the founding worlds of the Cooperative. It was the originating seat of the Archives before Senin died. An experiment in treating a deviant Gatekeeper went dreadfully wrong, resulting in Senin melting into a ball of superheated magma. Temporal eruptions kept the Faeries from remaining in orbit in their vast floating cities, and the planet had to be abandoned altogether.

Niqua

Home of the Camdyn

  • Gravity: 1.30 x Earth
  • Diameter: 1.15 x Earth
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen-rich, 1.80 times denser than Earth.
  • Day Length: 33 hours
  • Moons: 2 moon size of Mercury.
  • Binary: No.
  • Environment: Large continents framing large, deep oceans. Niqua has an extended, temperate zone that eases to large, permanent polar caps.
  • Orbit: Mildly circular.
  • Tilt: Moderate. Seasons are definite.
  • Sun: Yellow dwarf, a little brighter than Earth’s Sun.

Notes:

Niqua is a largely forested world with a small band of tropics, and wide bands of temperate zones, with extensive tundra on the northern and southern latitudes of the planet. The Camdyn are the apex predators there, but not the strongest.

Tel’range

Tel’range

Gatekeeper Training World

  • Gravity: 1.10 x Earth
  • Diameter: 1.05 x Earth
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen-rich, 1.50 times denser than Earth.
  • Day Length: 28 hours
  • Moons: 1 moons size of Mars.
  • Binary: Yes. A moon large enough to be considered a planet. And a gas giant they both orbit.
  • Environment: Large continents framing large, deep oceans. Tel’range has an extended, semi-tropical zone that eases to small, permanent polar caps.
  • Orbit: Mildly circular.
  • Tilt: Moderate. Seasons are mild.
  • Sun: Yellow dwarf, a little brighter than Earth’s Sun.

Notes:

Tel’range is considered a territory of Syagria, under Elvish control. It occupies the same galaxy as Syagria, but is situated closer to the center of the galaxy. The Fracture there is profuse and complicated, making it hard for Gatekeepers to navigate. Because of that, it is the primary Gatekeeper training world. Like many worlds with life, however, it is uncolonized. This began to change when the Cooperative started setting up a colony to exile the Terran visitors to.

Trelos

Trelos

Trelos

Exile of the Deviants

  • Gravity: 1 x Earth
  • Diameter: 1.05 x Earth
  • Atmosphere: Oxygen-rich, 0.80 times denser than Earth.
  • Day Length: Solar day is 20 hours, but there is rarely an actual night.
  • Moons: 2 moon size of Ceres.
  • Binary: No.
  • Environment: Small continents framing large, deep oceans. Trelos has an extended, tropical zone that eases to small, seasonal polar caps.
  • Orbit: Mildly circular.
  • Tilt: Moderate. Seasons are definite.
  • Sun: Yellow dwarf, a little brighter than Earth’s Sun.

Notes:

Trelos is used as its exile colony due to its proximity to a stellar anomaly called the Maelstrom. It is a normal, semi-tropical world in many ways, but is considered expendable. Because of the expanse of the brilliantly glowing Maelstrom, there is rarely a true night. The Gatekeeper mothers and their deviant Gapekeeper children find the Maelstrom irresistible, and most enter the anomaly never to be seen again. This saves the Chasers the trouble of tracking and exterminating the deviant child.

Elf

Species

Furry Elves

Morphology: Humanoid. Their median height is approximately six feet tall. Short fur similar to that of savanna felines such as lions and cheetahs. Longer fingers and toes than Terrans, but not noticeable unless one is looking for it. Large eyes with large iris, an inheritance from the night-time predator days that Elves evolved from. Modest canines. Capable of Terran infiltration with minor modifications that include shaving fur and covering eyes with sunglasses, and not smiling too broadly.

Notes: Indigenous to Syagria, Elves are lithe humanoid creatures. There are Elvish subspecies, some that prefer the forest and others coastal regions and still others the plains. All are climbers, and all evolved from predators that resided in tree oases on open savannas. They are deeply connected to their environment and are also powerful empaths able to read and influence animals around them and to a degree sentient beings. The males have a stronger connection to the fauna around them, while the females have a stronger connection to the flora. When bonded, they share their strengths with each other. They can see into the UV – an ability insects on Earth already have for instance – which allows them to see patterns that would otherwise be invisible in the human visible spectrum. They are omnivores. They are able to form mental bonds with their peers, with core bonds with their life-mates, allowing them to share life experiences and communication. Their society is tightly knit, with a loose hierarchy of elders serving to give direction and provide wisdom.
